Heal Past PT - The Success Studio Bridge Program

Getting injured can be a frustrating and challenging process, one that takes time and a full understanding of your injury. Patients often want to know how soon they can return to their previous fitness level, but the exact answer can be difficult; it depends on each patient’s health and varies on a case- by-case basis.

During physical therapy (PT), you should have been doing exercises that helped with some combination of strength, mobility, or flexibility. When PT ends and you feel recovered, it’s easy to start to think these movements and exercises aren’t important anymore. Don’t get overly confident! It’s important to keep doing what got you better. By continuing your exercises, it reinforces the new movements that you have been working on and helps to make sure you don’t end up back where you started. So when you reach the end of your physical therapy, it’s a good idea to establish a transition plan.

Our clients at Success Studio have a unique advantage because we offer a physical therapy bridge program that will “bridge the gap” between your PT program and fitness. With this transitional rehabilitation program, you’ll be able to get back to doing the things you love without reversing all the progress you made in PT. And getting back to where you were pre-injury will help you to “live life on your own terms.”

We know that pushing too hard too fast can aggravate your injury and could reverse weeks of progress you made in therapy. We also know that starting back at the gym when you’ve taken time off because of your injury can be intimidating and, quite frankly, hard! So our personal trainers work closely with your physical therapists to set realistic goals and build a program that increases incrementally, so that each week you get stronger, feel more confident, and succeed!

Just because you’ve “graduated” from physical therapy doesn’t mean that you have to stop working on getting stronger and reducing your chances of re-injuring yourself. Our 3 Month Training Plan provides the personalized care you need to not only recover, but get back to doing the things you love to do.
